Welcome to Painted Performance Horses!
We are a small breeder located near Bentley, Alberta, about half an hour from Red Deer nestled in the Blindman Valley.
As a small breeder we have been very selective with our herd, our most recent and significant addition to the herd is MY PAINTED GUN, a loud APHA sabino overo son of $5 million dollar sire Colonels Smokingun!! We look forward to breeding him to some great mares starting in the spring of 2013.
Our mare herd is smaller in scale but we are very selective. Our mares exhibit the qualities that ensure we are producing top foals out of mares that have points or earnings. Our goal is at Painted Performance Horses is to produce foals that have all the qualities to follow in their sire and dam's hoofprints with confirmation, trainablity, and color! All of which lead to successful careers in the show pen!
